Daspur(West Midnapur), Apr 9: Body of Daspur-II block BDO Kallol Sur was found hanging by a rope from the ceiling of his office Bungalow this morning.

District Magistrate N S Nigam has rushed to the spot. He said that Sur was suffering from Mental depression for quite some time now.

An unnatural death case has been registered with the local police station.

Kokrajhar, Nov 30: At least two people were injured in separate blasts, which occurred on the Bengal-Assam border at Srirampur today. Police sources here said the first blast took place in a truck near the Srirampur check gate in Assam's Kokrajhar district at 1000 hrs.
