Srinagar, Apr 7: One person was killed and another injured in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sourcs said today.

They said a vehicle hit and critically wounded a boy, Abdul Rashid at Peerbagh on Srinagar-Airport road.

He was rushed to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) where he was declared brought dead.

A motorcyclist was injured when a vehicle hit him at Doonipora on Srinagar-Baramulla highway.

He was admitted to hospital, they said.

Srinagar, Apr 7 (UNI) Under Bharat Nirman, two water supply schemes would be constructed at a total cost of Rs 3.70 crore in north Kashmir, official sources said. They said the water supply schemes at Hurdu Sheva and Hurwan villages of Zaingair block would be constructed at a total cost of Rs 3.70 crore under the Bharat Nirman Scheme. Karnataka urge Centre to clear pending projects

Beijing, Apr 7: China and New Zealand signed a free-trade agreement with each other here on Monday.
