Dhar(MP), Apr 7: A married couple, riding on a motorcycle, was killed and their relative seriously injured when their two wheeler was knocked down by a tanker last night in Peetampur town on Mhow-Neemuch road in this district, police said today.

Police said Suman Bai (25) was killed on the spot while her husband Hiralal (28) succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital. Hiralal's younger brother, who was seriously injured, was admitted to the district hospital.

The driver was absconding while the tanker had been seized, police added.
