New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) After several days of rainy and cloudy weather last week, Delhi today experienced a sunny day even though the coolness in the air persisted with the mercury recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius.
Though the maximum temperature rose, from 28.4 degrees Celsius yesterday, to 31.4 degrees C, it still remained four degrees below normal.
And, with the minimum also remaining three degrees below normal at 16.4 degrees C, the coolness in the weather in Delhi remained.
The coming days are likely to witness a further rise in mercury with weathermen forecasting a rise in maximum temperature to 33 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
The Met office have forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
