One killed another injured in bus mishap

Jalandhar, Apr 6 (UNI) One person was killed while another injured when the bus they were travelling in over-turned near village Mandiala under Mehatpur Police Station in the district today.

Police said the mishap took place when a private, while trying to overtake a tractor-trolley turn-turtle.

At the time of accident, nearly 15 passengers were in the bus, police said adding that one identified as Mohammad Shahid (21) died on the spot while another persons who sustained injuries was immidiately rushed to a hospital.

Srinagar, Aug 20: The main accused in the Handwara NGO sex scandal has surrendered before the Jammu and Kashmir Police while another person was arrested in connection with the racket. London, Jan 17 (ANI): Girls as young as 12 could be given contraceptive implants to prevent underage pregnancies, according to a new UK report.A report for Barnsley Metropolitan District Council has found that the number of pregnancies among 17 and 18 year olds has reduced since 1998, while there has been no significant decrease among younger girls.It suggests, "long term contraceptive implants be carried out with a view to improving the provision of services".The implants can.....
