While talking to UNI, Suprintendent of Police Richard Lakra said the name of the person arrested here last night was similar to that of CPI(Maoist) cadre Jitan Marandi.

The person arrested yesterday came to the state capital to participate in a fuction organised by Visthapan Virodhi Manch, police asserted.

Mr Lakra said investigation was on to find out whether the arrested person had in fact any link with the proscribed outfit.
