Visakhapatnam, Apr 5 (UNI) Vidharbha entered the semi-finals, defeating Himachal Pradesh by 29 runs in the quarter-finals of the All India One-day Inter-zone Vijay Hazare knockout trophy here today.
Winning the toss, Himachal put Vidharbha in to bat.
Vidharbha were all out for 204 in 49.4 overs. Faiz Fazal scored 64, with five boundaries, while Ravi Janjid struck 36, with four fours. Both made a 73-run partnership for third wicket.
Urvesh Atel, scored 40 and Iraj Khadbe scored 31, with four boundaries.
Among the Vidharbha bowlers, Ashok Takkur emerged successful picking four for 38, while V Malik bagged two for 40.
In reply, Himachal were all out for 175 in 45.4 overs. Sangram Singh scored 38 while M S Bisla took 37, with one boundary and one six. Arasdogra was the other main scorer with 22.
Vidharbha will play Saurastra in the semifinal April eight.
