Tamil Nadu: Two killed as govt bus collides

Kancheepuram, Apr 5: Two persons were killed and 13 others injured when two Government buses collided at Janakipuram in this district, early today. Police said the mishap occurred when a bus proceeding from Thiruvannamalai to Chennai attempted to overtake the other bus from Thittakudi to Chennai.

While the conductor of the bus from Thiruvannamalai Ezhumalai (45) died on the spot, a seriously injured passenger Rajeswari (47) died on the way to the Chromepet Government Hospital. The injured were admitted to the Chengalpattu Government Hospital.
