Chennai, Apr 5 (UNI) The four-member Central team, headed by Union Home Department Joint Secretary Dharmendra Sharma, arrived here tonight to visit the flood affected areas in Tamil Nadu from tomorrow.
Mr Sharma, accompanied by Mr Dheenanath of Central Expenditure department, arrived from New Delhi.
The other members Dr K Manoharan and M J Jayachandran had already arrived.
The team would visit the flood affected areas till April eight and hold a meeting with state Revenue Minister I Periyasamy and higher officials on April nine at the State Secretariat and leave for Delhi on the same day.
During their four-day visit, the team would visit various flood affected areas, hold disucssions with the district Collectors and analyse the extent of damage and submit a report to the Centre.
The team, would wind up their visit by holding discussions with the Revenue Minister here on April nine and other officials.
