2 killed, 14 injured in separate road mishaps in Lakhisarai

Lakhisarai, Apr 05 (UNI) In all, two people were killed and 14 others sustained serious injury in separate road mishaps at different places in the district today.

Police said a lady teacher was killed on the spot, while three others were injured when a speeding jeep overturned near Singarpur pond on Sahur-Kiul Highway. The injured had been admitted to local hospitals.

In another accident, one person was killed and 11 others were injured, when the jeep they were travelling in, overturned at Sadhu Baba Sthan on Rampur-Surji Chak Highway. The injured had been rushed to nearby private clinics, where three of them were stated to be critical.
