Beijing organised everything perfectly: IOC

Uruguay, Mar: International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Coordination Committee for the Beijing Olympics has assured that Beijing ''organised everything perfectly'' with a high professional quality and collaboration "just like demanded by them".

Julio Maglione, the representative of IOC, Beijing Olympics as well as the president of Uruguay Olympic Committee (COU) said yesterday the Chinese government guarantees full security measures to all sports delegations worldwide to enter the Asian country. He said the IOC ''loves peace, believes in love between countries, has good relations with the United Nations.'' ''We collaborate and really feel peace and we are convinced sports is one of the most important bridges to promote it,'' Maglione added. After French President Nicolas Sarkozy hinted of boycotting Beijing Olympics ceremony, COU also said politics should stay away from games and reiterated that athletes from the South American country will participate in the August extravaganza.
