Gujarat: 2 peacocks, 1 peahen found dead

Rajkot, Mar 16: Two peacocks and a peahen were found dead in the Kalyan park, near Shastrinagar on Nana Mava road here. Forest officials recovered the dead birds yesterday and sent them for postmortem.

Preliminary investigations revealed that these birds have died after consuming poisonous substance, sources said adding that the exact cause of the death can only be known after the postmortem report.
