Forensic reports on rape suspect to be submitted on Mar 17

Hyderabad, Mar 15: The Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory (APFSL) was still analysing the reports of DNA and other tests on a key suspect in the case of rape and murder of a B.Pharma student in the college hostel in Vijayawada last month, APFSL Director Murthy today said the report is yet to be finalised.

Mr Murthy told the sou the final reports would be finalised and submitted to the state government on March 17.

Polygraph, hand writting, DNA and footprint tests were conducted on one of the seven suspects in the case, 'Laddu' alias Gurvinder Singh. He was arrested in Vijayawada, recently, He said forensic experts at APFSL were analysing the test reports.

Asked if they had obtained any clues abut the suspects involvement in the crime based on the tests, he said "We could not come to any conclusion as yet on this. I cannot say anythng without studying the analysis of the tests made by our experts."
