Raj Thackeray quietly celebrates MNS foundation day

Mumbai, Mar 10: In the face of the continued restrictions on him from making public pronouncements, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray quietly celebrated his party's second foundation day held at his residence ''Krishna Kunj'', near Shivaji Park at Dadar here.

The Party, which was earlier denied permission by the Shiv Sena-ruled Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to hold a public rally at Shivaji Park, had cancelled public celebrations of the its second foundation day that fell yesterday. Mr Thackeray stayed at his residence, receiving greetings from his party workers. He met them in groups and spoke to them, the sources from the party said.

City police had made heavy security arrangement around the residence of the MNS chief. No untoward incident was reported.

'India sought only 3 suspects, not 20'

Islamabad, Dec 5: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's Adviser on Interior Affairs, Rehman Malik, has that India has only sought 3 terrorist suspects and not 20 as has been reported by the media.He also said that the list submitted by the Indian Government does not include the name of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, the head of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, which is being accused of masterminding last week's Mumbai terror attacks  that claimed nearly 200 lives and caused injuries to nearly.....
