Kidnapped real estate agent traced in AP district

Hyderabad, Mar 1: A city-based realtor who was abducted by unidentified men two days ago for ransom, had been traced to Karimnagar District.

Police said based on cellphone calls, police found Bhaskar's abductors had taken him to Karimnagar. Special teams were sent to the district to trace him in coordination with the local police. The family members of the realtor said they received phone call seekig Rs five lakh as ransom. The callers denied they were naxals.

Bus crash kills 14 in southwestern China

Beijing, Mar 16:  A bus crash in southwestern China has killed 14 people and injured 12, state media today reported.A minibus carrying 26 people in Yunnan province overturned yesterday night and fell into a bamboo-covered valley, Xinhua news agency said, citing local police.Rescuers said 10 of the 26 passengers died immediately and four died in hospital.Yesterday morning, 22 people were killed when a bus veered off a highway and plunged into a reservoir in China's northwestern Shaanxi province.Nearly 99,000 people were.....
