Tata to invest in the aviation sector

New Delhi, Feb 21, 2008 : The Tatas are staging a slow and steady comeback into the aviation sector. The group, which has a 6.9% stake in the budget carrier Spice Jet worth $18 million, has now reportedly invested a 'significant' undisclosed amount through its Indian Hotels Company in BJETS, a business jet operator company. The deal is said to have been inked in Singapore on Feb 19.

Mumbai, Oct 31: Rejecting Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's plea, a local court today granted his brother Faisal Khan's custody to their father for a temporary period of one month. New Delhi, Jan 13: In an effort to mend fences with the BJP, actor-director Aamir Khan held a special screening of his film 'Taare Zameen Par' for the party's veteran leader L K Advani in the capital. Many BJP leaders and special guests were present during the screening here on Friday. New Delhi, Dec 24: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is again in controversy. On Tuesday, Dec 23 Madras High Court stayed his new movie Ghajini's (Remake of Tamil movie Ghajini) release in Tamil Nadu. Ghajini was slated for all-India release on Christmas.
