Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) Showcasing Paris as a tourist destination, will be the aim of a delegation of 17 Parisian tourism professionals, belonging to the Paris Committee, who will be in the country from March 3 to 7.
Maison De La France (French Tourist Office) in association with Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau will help the delegation, which is on a visit to India for the sixth consecutive year, to promote exclusive events of Paris in New Delhi and Mumbai.
A committee led by Paul Roll, Managing Director of the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, will bring the delegation to India, thus providing a great opportunity for the representatives from Paris to establish and develop business relationships with key travel agencies and tour operators from Delhi&Mumbai.
Mr Roll said, ''The Indian market is becoming increasingly affluent, mobile, internet savvy and more sophisticated in terms of what is demanded of tourism products and services, which makes these events a core marketing activity for tourism suppliers. Moreover this is part of an ongoing project for French companies to gain greater access in India and identify opportunities for the long-term growth in both countries.'' UNI LS SR SM1543
