Mercury rises to 9.2 Deg C

New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) The Capital today continued its movement towards the spring season with the mercury rising to 9.2 degree Celsius.

After a slight drop yesterday, the minimum temperature again rose to 9.2 degree from 8.2 degree yesterday.

A slight mist was witnessed in the morning though the visibility levels remained near normal at 800m.

The warmth in the air is likely to persist in the coming days with weathermen forecasting a minimum temperature of around 9 degree tomorrow.

The met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with likelihood of slight mist in the morning.

Washington, Feb 21 : While traversing steep hillsides, trekking on a straight line might seem like the shortest route, but it's the zigzag course that provides the most efficient and fastest way for humans to go up or down hilly terrains, according to a new study.
