Gold sets new record at Rs 12,200 per ten gm

Mumbai, Feb 21: Standard Gold closed today at an all-time high of 12,200 as it rose by Rs 195 per ten gm even as Silver ended at Rs 22,555, gaining Rs 420 per kg, on improved demand, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 22,555 (22,135) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,200 (12,005) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,255 (12,060).
