FXlabs partners with Zapak, Sify launch Agni

Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) FXLabs, the leading end-to-end game company in India, today launched its first personal computer adventure game ''Agni''.

The high-energy action-packed game stars Malaika Arora Khan as the lead character ''Agni''. FXLabs has partnered with Zapak and Sify to publish the game online.

The game is a Third Person Shooter-Role Playing Game (TPS-RPG) and features over ten original scenic stages and four different characters -- Tara, Agni, Ghayab and Adhira with enthralling sound and visuals effects.

Speaking at the launch of ''Agni'', FXLabs founder and chairman Sashi Reddi said, ''Agni is the result of our efforts to provide Indian gamers with international quality, and content with local flavour at Indian prices.'' Zapak Digital Entertainment chief marketing officer Arun Mehra said, ''We would get our users to sample the game through a 60-minute trial version which we will launch on Zapak.com soon.

Also we will be promoting the game offline through our Gameplex in eleven cities and host a tournament around it, which will be flagged off by Malaika Arora Khan in Delhi next week.'' Sify Technologies chief operating officer C V S Suri said, ''Sify has been developing the online games market in India for a number of years with numerous pioneering initiatives through 200 Sify GameDromes and over 1,000 Sify iWays with games-enabled PCs in more than a hundred cities.'' Malaika Arora Khan, the brand avatar of Agni, also expressed satisfaction over the PC game which, she said, would be admired by the people.

30 farmers held for scuffle with police

Fatehpur, Feb 21: As many 30 farmers were today arrested for last night's firing on the district court premises here. Several policemen were among over 24 people wounded in the firing between police and farmers at the district court.
