Anand Pawar enters second round in the Austrian International

Bangalore, Feb 21 (UNI) Anand Pawar, a trainee of TATA Padukone Badminton Academy, who missed selection into the Tomas Cup Badminton Team, has staged an upset win over Swedish No.1 player Magnus Sahlberg in the Austrian International Championships 2008, which is in progress at Vienna.

Anand beat the top Swede in straight games at 21-14,21-13, according to report reaching the Academy here today.

He will now play the local favorite and number 1 Austrian Player Juergen Koch in his second round match later tonight.
