27 including 5 children fell sick with diarrhoea in Haryana village

Ambala, Feb 21 (UNI) As many as 27 persons including five children fell sick with diarrhoea which spread in the nearby village Janetpur here today. The victims were admitted to the village primary health center and private hospitals for treatment.

The Principal Medical Officer Dr O P Arya with his team rushed the village and supervised the arrangements made to treat the patients.

Dr Arya saidd that the situation was under control. He said that whole of the village was covered by distributing chloroquin tablets and other medicines among the affected persons.

The SDM M K Ahuja also visited the village. He said that whole of the water pipelines were being checked to detect leakage. He said that some patients were discharged after giving treatment.

MIC wants Sedition Act on writer for terming Malay Indians 'immigrants'
