Agartala, Feb 20: Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi on Feb 20 criticised Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for accusing Congress's alliance partner tribal based INPT of having links with international terrorist organisations. Addressing an election rally here this morning, Mr Dasmunsi alleged that the Manik Sarkar government had shown its inefficiency in taking action against the anti-Indian outfits and encouraged militancy by using them for their narrow political purpose.

He accused the Left front government in Tripura of non-utilisation of central fund to accelerate the pace of development in the state and alleged that rampant corruption and mismanagement in governance. Women and children were not safe in the state with crime on the rise, Mr Dasmunsi said. Referring Left Front election manifesto, Mr Dasmunshi said, "If Chief Minister thinks INPT leader have links with the ISI why did he not put them behind the bars?"
