Wuxi City, China invites Indian IT to set up units

Bangalore, Feb 19(UNI) China's Wuxi City Chief Executive Yang Weize today invited Indian IT and software companies to set up their units for a deeper cooperation in service outsourcing.

Mr Weize, addressing Wuxi-Bangalore Business seminar on service outsourcing cooperation agenda here, he said that his IT city boasts of prominant advantages, broad markets, and promising opportunties for developing the service outsourcing industry into a pillar industry in the coming decade.

Stating that developing the international service outsourcing industry has become Wuxi strategy, he said "we are looking forward to the attention and support from Indian service outsourcing circle for a wide and deeper cooperation." "We also plan to construct 20 high level service outsourcing parks in the next two years as part of promoting the industry," he added.

He said during the current visit, the delegation proposes to sign atleast 10 agreements with Indian companies including NIIT for training of manpower at the rate of 10,000 a year.

5 years after 9/11, airlines look up to recovery
