Two arrested for possessing hawala money

Kozhikode, Feb 19 (UNI) Police today seized Rs 88 lakh hawala money from a car coming from Bangalore at Thamarasseri in this district of Kerala and arrested two persons.

Police said acting on a tip-off, a team headed by Thamarasseri Circle Inspector Sanjeevan seized the currency from the car early this morning.

The accused were identified as Siddique and Faizal, police added.
