J'khand Govt approves construction of museum

Ranchi, Feb 19 (UNI) The Jharkhand Government today gave its approval to about 21 proposals, including construction of a state level museum, at Hotwar here.

The state Cabinet gave its formal approval to the proposal of construction of museum building at an estimated cost of Rs 11.27 crore.

The Cabinet also approved construction of mega sports complex for the proposed 34th National Games and creation of three posts in the Mining and Geology department.

New Delhi, Dec 15: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will either reply or intervene in the discussion on the Indo-US civilian nuclear cooperation deal to be held in the Lok Sabha on Monday and in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.Most probably, the Prime Minister would intervene and not reply to the discussion, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs P R Dasmunsi said here today, adding he would inform the Press about the actual position after Prime Minister's return from Japan tomorrow.He.....

Rajkot police take custody of Karan Jadeja

Rajkot, Aug 13: Karan Jadeja, the son of 'Godmother' Santokben Jadeja, the prime accused in the murder of Rekha Jadeja (32), daughter-in-law of Santokben Jadeja, was brought here today from Mumbai on transfer warrants.A team led by Police Inspector V V Gohil took possession of the accused from Mumbai police on Friday and brought him here today by road, Mr Gohil said.The accused will be produced before the local court here tomorrow and police will seek his remand.....
