Jaipur, Feb 19: Welcoming Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati's support to Gujjars' demand of their inclusion in the Scheduled Tribe list, Gujjar Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti (GASS) Convenor Col Kirori Singh Bainsla today said the community will reveal its support to a political party when needed.

Ms Mayawati had come out in support of the Gujjars' demand at a massive rally held here on Sunday kicking off the BSP's election campaign for the ensuing Assembly election in Rajasthan.

Col Bainsla said a collective decision on the community's support to a political party would be taken after all of them came out with their stand on the issue.

He asked Ms Mayawati to put her support to the Gujjars' demand into action by restoring the Gujjars of Maharanpur and Musafarnager of the status of the denotified tribe and withdrawing the cases registered against the Gujjars during agitation.
