AICCTU to observe fast on Feb 20 in Pondy

Puducherry, Feb 19: The All India Central Council for Trade Unions (AICCTU) would observe a fast in front of the Labour office here tomorrow to press their demands.

AICCTU demanded that the Puducherry administration enact a legislation recognizing trade unions, steps to prevent injustice on labourers and alternate jobs for workers, who were being terminated from industrial units here, its general secretary Motilal told a press conference here today.
