AG Haryana beat Delhi (audit) to enter North Zone finals

Chandigarh, Feb 19 (UNI) A breezy unbeaten knock by Jatinder (63, 8 fours) and his 121 run fourth wicket partnership with run-hungry Suraj Salhotra (64) who blasted eight fours and two towering sixes in his 40 ball innings saw host AG Haryana enter the final of North Zone Audit and Accounts Department Cricket tournament defeating Delhi (Audit) by six wickets.

Chasing a target of 207 in 35 overs, opener Gulab Rubani (19) and skipper Aman (42) added 54 runs for the second wicket after the first wicket fell for a blob. Earlier, Delhi outfit made 206 in the allotted 35 overs. Raju Sharma made a patient innings of 90 and remained not out. Haryana medium pacer Satnam Singh was the pick of the bowlers who captured three for 47.

In the second semifinal at the University Ground, local outfit AG Punjab got the better of AG UP with thumping nine wicket win. Set to score 194 in 40 overs, Punjab team romped home with nine wickets to spare.

Punjab's Navdeep with unbeaten Century (100, 10x4, 3x6) and Randhir Nain (48 no) with their unbeaten 110 run stand for the second wicket were instrumental in Punjab's win.
