Aamir Khan sells Ghajini rights for Rs 90 cr

New Delhi, Feb 18, 2008 : Pre-release of movie rights has become a hot property.

Take the case of the Hindi remake of Tamil movie Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan, which has reportedly earned an estimated sum of Rs 90 crore by selling its distribution rights. Last year, Shah Rukh Khan"s Om Shanti Om was the top grosser in distribution rights. It sold the rights to Eros for a reported Rs 73 crore.

Madras HC stays Aamir's Ghajini release

New Delhi, Dec 24: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is again in controversy. On Tuesday, Dec 23 Madras High Court stayed his new movie Ghajini's (Remake of Tamil movie Ghajini) release in Tamil Nadu. Ghajini was slated for all-India release on Christmas. Allu Arvind, the producer of Hindi version said that the movie may not release anywhere in India if the film fails to get the stay vacated on Thursday, Dec 25 in the Madras High Court.Arvind said, “It is true.....
