New Delhi, Feb 18: A high alert has been sounded across Delhi today following intelligence reports of a possible terror attack in the national capital.
A Delhi police spokesperson confirmed that intelligence reports had been received suggesting that there was a possibility of some ''terrorist activity'' in the national capital. ''We have upgraded the security apparatus and intensified searches and checking across the capital,'' he added. Meanwhile, police sources said a high alert has been sounded in Delhi in view of the intelligence reports. All entry and exit points have been sealed and all vehicles were being thoroughly checked, they added.
Delhi Police had also erected barricades at many places across the capital.
This was for the third time in the recent past that high alert had been sounded in the national capital following intelligence reports of possible terror attacks.
