Patna, Feb 18 (UNI) The Patna police today submitted a chargesheet in a local court in the sensational Reshma-Kajal case against five people, including a renowned city builder Anil Sharma.
The chargesheet was submitted in the court of Patna Chief Judicial Magistrate Raghvender Kumar Singh by the city police under various sections of Indian Penal Code.
The three chargesheeted accused, including Anil Sharma, are presently lodged in jail while two others are shown as absconders in the chargesheet.
The body of a young girl was found under Shastri Nagar police station area in the state capital on October 31 last. Later on the body was said as to be of a girl Reshma and because of an alleged suicidal note a scuffle broke out between JD (U) MLA Annant Singh and media personnel.
On investigation police found the alleged suicidal note to be a fabricated one and it was said that the body was of a girl Kajal and not Reshma. Her body was identified by her relatives.
