Film director's driver found dead

Chennai, Feb 17: Mystery shrouds the death of a 36-year-old man, working as a driver with a film director, after he allegedly fell from the second floor of a city hotel under the influence of alcohol early today.

Police said the person was identified as Murugan, working with Director Myskin, who directed the latest Tamil film ''Anjaathe''.

The film crew had a party last night where liquor was served.

Murugan had allegedly consumed liquor beyond his limit and stayed in a room in the second floor.

He came out of the room in the wee hours and inadvertently fell from the second floor. He sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.

However, police have registered a case of mysterious death, as Murugan reportedly had some difference of opinion with the director.
