Air India, Jet Airways all set to buy 60 Boeings

New Delhi, 15 Feb, 2008: According to official sources, negotiations are going on between major Indian carriers, Air India Jet Airways and Aircraft manufacturer Boeing for 60 wide-bodied aircraft.

Meant to meet the international route expansion needs of the two carriers, the combined deals are expected to be valued at $15 billion. Sources reveal that Air India might finalise the orders it is going to place with Boeing in the next three months.

New Delhi: Low-cost govt airline to start soon
