Texas businessman says he is JFK's love child

Washington, Feb.15 : A Texas businessman, who is now living in Canada, claims he's President John F. Kennedy's love child - and he wants the Kennedy clan to help him prove it.

Jack Worthington, 46, who bears a striking resemblance to the assassinated leader, has appealed to the Kennedys to provide DNA from the former President or from males directly related to JFK's father, Joe Kennedy.

He said the DNA was needed for Y chromosome analysis that could prove his claim.

A spokeswoman for the Kennedys didn't return calls for comment, reports the Daily News.

Worthington didn't say why he has come forward now, but insists he isn't out for financial gain.

He told a Canadian television station, "I would sign an agreement with the Kennedys immediately in which I agree not to pursue any financial remuneration from the JFK estate whatsoever."

He added he intends to reveal information that could have a "potentially profound impact" - but gave no details.

Kennedy was killed on November 22, 1963 - Worthington's second birthday. That means Worthington would have been conceived a few weeks after JFK was inaugurated in 1961.

He said Kennedy was introduced to his mother by Lyndon Johnson, Kennedy's vice president, but would give no details about his mom.
