Strengthen Congress in Kerala: Sonia

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 15(UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi today exhorted the party workers in Kerala to strengthen the party in the state.

Inaugurating DCC office at the KPCC headquarters here, Ms Gandhi expressed confidence that the present atmosphere in the state was conducive for the party and the result would be reflected in the next Parliament elections.

The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Chairperson, who is here to attend some private functions, said the next government in the state would be formed by the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF).

The new DCC office would remain as a platform for party workers to perform unitedly, she added.
