Parmar replaces Powar in West Zone squad for Duleep final

Mumbai, Feb 15 (UNI) The West Zone selectors today made only one change for the final match of the Duleeep Trophy against North Zone, by bringing in spinner Mohnish Parmar in place of Ramesh Powar.

The final of the Duleep Trophy between West Zone and North Zone will be held from February 19 to 23 at the Wankhede stadium here.

The West Zone team: Parthiv Patel (c, w-k), Wasim Jaffer, Sahil Kukreja, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Yusuf Pathan, Ashraf Makda, S Trivedi, Rakesh Dhruve, Sandeep Jobanputra, Mohnish Parmar, Samad Fallah, Harshad Khadiwale, Pinal Shah, Rakesh Solanki.

Bhatinda (Punjab), Feb 15 : Cold wave conditions in Punjab have damaged most of the potato crop causing huge losses to farmers. Potato producers of Bhatinda say that they have lost at least 70 per cent of their crop yield to severe cold and frost formation. Five killed, 33 injured in Berhampore mishap

Kolkata, Feb.15 : Five people were killed and 33 injured when a vehicle in which they were returning overturned at Nabagram village in Murshidabad district late on Thursday night. The tractor carrying the funeral party was returning from Berhampore after cremating a body. Two of the five killed died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries at the Berhampore New General Hospital. Of the 33 injured, the condition of ten is serious, police in Berhampore said......

Delhi to host 10-day North East conclave
