One more succumbs to injuries in bus accident

Mumbai, Feb 15 (UNI) Two people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured when a BEST bus hit them near the Star Plus office at Marol Naka in western parts of the city today.

The identities of the deceased, a 32-year-old woman who died on the spot and a 50-year-old man who succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, were yet to be ascertained. Their bodies have been kept at the Cooper hospital morgue, police said.

Among the injured, one was admitted in the Cooper Hospital and another in Mukund Hospital, police added.

The accident occurred at around 0945 hours when the victims were crossing the road off Kurla-Andheri linking road just opposite the Star Plus office, sources said.

Police have registered a case against the BEST bus driver, sources said.

Two relatives killed after being hit by canter

Yamunanagar, Feb 15 (UNI) Two peole were killed after the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a vehicle coming from the opposite direction near Radaur village on the Saharanpur-Pipli highway this evening. Police sources identified the victims as Mohal Lal and his brother-in-law Mahavir. Both died on the spot. The police has registered a case against the canter driver, who absconded after the accident. Emirates flights in Calicut-Dubai sector from July 1

Kozhikode, Feb 15 (UNI) Emirates Airways (EA) will introduce its service in the Calicut-Dubai sector from July 1.
