Puducherry, Feb 15(UNI) The National Knowledge Commission (NKC) Committee here would soon nominate nodal officers for school education, vocational education, higher education, linguistic and culture.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Committee chaired by A C Verma, Secretary to the Government, Education, here yesterday, an official release said here today. It was also decided to constitute a sub-committee to identify critical areas and spheres to develop the methodology of NKC. The meeting also finalised an action plan for the implementation of some recommendations, suggested by NKC, New Delhi.
Michel Houdayer, Director Alliance Francaise and Guy Vandendriessche, Principal, Lycee Francaise attended the meeting and urged for a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) to develop French language here from LKG onwards. Kiran Datar, Advisor,NKC, New Delhi, also participated in the meeting.
