New journalism college opened in Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 15 (UNI) Indian Institute of Professionals and Shristi College of Journalism and Mass Communication jointly opened a college of journalism in the southern part of the city today.

Institute Director A.Khemka here said academic session would start from March one.

The college would start three-year Bachelor degree, two -year Masters, PG diploma and one year certificate courses.

Each department would comprise 60 students.

The institute is recognised by the UGC and Association of Indian Universities and Ministry of HRD.

Four labourers killed in accident

Ujjain, MP, Feb 15 (UNI) Four labourers were killed on the spot and nine injured when their heavy vehicle, carrying a boring machine, lost balance and overturned in this district's Mahidpur tahsil, police said today.
