Kylie turns her back on trademark hotpants

London, Feb 15 : Pop star Kylie Minogue's fans may no longer see her in her famous gold hotpants, for the singer plans to switch over to a set of "sophisticated" costumes with her 40th birthday.

Minogue's stylist William Baker revealed that the singer would be moving up to next level to the sophisticatedly designed wardrobe.

"She's celebrating her 40th birthday this year, so what we have planned is just to move in the right direction," the Mirror quoted him as saying.

"We're working with Jean Paul Gaultier on the costumes - he designed Madonna's Blond Ambition tour.

"The outfits he designs are incredibly sophisticated - we're moving on to the next level, which is what she did with the last album."

"She's incredible. The next tour we're doing will see Kylie ageing gracefully, he added.
