Krishna to award President's police medals tomorrow

Mumbai, Feb 15 (UNI) Governor S M Krishna will present the the President's medals and police medals at a function here tomorrow.

The medals presentation function will be held at the State Police Headquarters in Colaba, here. The medals will be presented to 66 officers and other personnel, an official release here today said.

For the first time in many years, the investiture is being held outside the historic Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan where some repair works are under progress.

Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil, Director General of Police Dr P S Pasricha, Police Commissioner D N Jadhav and other high ranking officials will be present in the ceremony, the release added.

Dannii Minogue says British media bullied her to be thin like sister

Melbourne, Mar 13 (ANI): Singer Dannii Minogue has revealed that she was actually bullied by the British press to be thin like her sister, Kylie."I was 19 when I moved to London and the British press put a huge amount of pressure on me - they said I was too fat because I wasn't the same size as my sister," News.com.au quoted Dannii, as telling Who magazine.Dannii revealed that she found it uncanny as to why people were bothered.....
