ISKCON to serve noon meals to 50,000 children

Tirupati, Feb 15 (UNI) The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will serve mid-day meals to 50,000 children daily, its President Revati Raman Das said today.

Addressing a press conference here, he said ISKCON would serve mid-day meals to 50,000 children as against 16,000 at present, after the construction of the new Nitya Annadhana complex here was completed.

The new complex would come up near Rythu bazaar here, where the State Government had allotted 25 cents of land, he added.

He said the first anniversary celebrations of Sri Sri Radha Govinda Ashta Sakhi Lotus temple of ISKCON would be held here from February 18 to 20.
