Days get warmer in Delhi, nights remain cold

New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) Friday was a very warm day in Delhi with mercury rising above normal by two degrees to stand at 25.9 degrees Celsius.

However, nights continue to be cold with minimum temerature recorded at 5.7 degrees Celsius, about four degrees below normal.

The weatherman said the maximum temperature in the national capital would hover around the normal of 24 degrees Celsius, and also predicted relief for the people from the chill during nights.

He said the normal minimum temperature recorded during these days of the season generally stands at 10 degrees Ceslius.

The Met office forecast mist or shallow fog in the morning with minimum temperature hovering around eight degrees Celsius.

Jeev slips to 6th place, 5 Indians make the cut

Jakarta, Feb 15 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh carded four under 66 and slipped to 6th slot as five Indian made the cut in the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open Golf here today. Chile's Felipe Aguilar took the second round lead after recording eight-under par 62 for a 13-under par 127 total.
