CPI(M) workers stab BJP activist

Kannur, Feb 15 (UNI) A Bharatiya Janata Party activist suffered serious stab injuries after he was attacked allegedly by Communist Party of India(Marxist) activists at P M Mukku under Panoor police limits.

Police said A P Ramesh Babu (37) of Kakkara was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College with injuries on his neck, face and left stomach.

3 Uttarakhand HC Judges Appointed

New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) The appointment of three Judges to the Uttarakhand High Court by President Pratibha Patil was announced by the Law and Justice Ministry this evening. Uttarakhand HC Additional Judges Prafulla Chandra Pant, Brahma Singh Verma and Dharam Veer have been appointed Judges of the HC in that order of seniority, the announcement said.
