'Communal violence' is TRS chief's hidden agenda: Minister

Hyderabad, Feb 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Energy and Minority Welfare Minister Mohd Ali Shabbir today criticised Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao's statement that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy was trying to create disturbance in the city to divert people's attention from Telangana issue.

Speaking to newspersons here, he alleged that ' TRS chief's hidden agenda was to create communal violence in Hyderabad.

Mr Rao has no support in the city and neighbouring Ranga Reddy district, the Minister pointed out.

Meanwhile, Home Minister K Jana Reddy said there was no intelligence reports that the Chief Minister conspired to create violence in the city as stated by TRS president.

The government's responsibility was to take action against those who indulged in violent activities and not to create violence, he said.
