BSP govt fails on every front: Kalraj Mishra

Faizabad, Feb 15 (UNI) Charging the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government in Uttar Pradesh with failing on every front, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kalraj Mishra today said no progress was taking place under to rule.

Addressing media here, Mr Mishra alleged ''the law and order situation was worsening day by day under Chief Minister Mayawati's rule.'' Corruption has reached its peak and the officials are being transferred the most in Mayawati's rule, he alleged.

The BJP leader further said his party would protest the hike in petrol and diesel prices that would only lead to inflation.

Collingwood elated with win, urges caution

Auckland, Feb 15 (UNI) An elated England skipper, Paul Collingwood, urged caution after his side defeated New Zealand by six wickets in the third one-dayer to keep the series alive. Jeev slips to join 6th place, 5 Indians make the cut

Jakarta, Feb 15 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh carded four under 66 and slipped to 6th slot as five Indian made the cut in the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open Golf here today. Chile's Felipe Aguilar took the second round lead after recording eight-under par 62 for a 13-under par 127 total. SRFI says media report on favourable Doha draw "malicious"
