Bangalore, Feb 15(UNI) National carrier Air India will be reintroducing its day return flights on the Bangalore-Chennai -Bangalore sector and also offer daily flights between Bangalore and Bhubaneswar and additional Bangalore-Kolkata flights with effective from February 18.
The morning filght IC 541 would leave Bangalore daily at 0930 hrs to and reach Chennai at 1015 hrs. The incoming morning flight would arrive Bangalore at 0830 hrs daily, an Air India press release said.
The evening flight IC 588 would leave Bangalore at 2115 hrs and reach Chennai at 2200 hrs daily. The incoming flight would reach Bangalore at 2030 hrs daily. These flight would offer both Executive and Economy class services to the passengers.
The daily flight between Bangalore and Bhubaneswar would leave Bangalore at 0930 hrs and reach Bhubanseswar at 1300 hrs via Chennai. This would be in addition to the existing twice weekly direct flights from Bangalore at 1030 hrs on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The press release said that there would be two flights daily between Bangalore and Kolkata from February 18. The existing direct flight would leave Bangalore at 0605 hrs and the new hopping flight would leave Bangalore at 0930 hrs. The incoming flights from Kolkata would reach Bangalore at 0825 hrs and at 0830 hrs in the evening.
