Traditional music attracts foreigners to India

Bhopal, Feb 7, 2008: Attracted by Indian classical music, scores of foreigners are undertaking lessons to gain mastery in the traditional music form in central Bhopal city in India's Madhya Pradesh.

The sounds of sitar- a stringed classical instrument accompanied by the renditions of 'ragas' or classical compositions are attracting more and more foreigners who come to 'Dhrupad Sansthan' to learn music in a traditional setting.
