Three of a family killed in accident

Hoshiarpur, Feb 7 (UNI) Three members of a family were killed and an eight-month old child was injured, when the vehicle on which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck near Bagol Khurd on Jalandhar-Pathankot national highway near here today.

According to the police sources, the deceased were identified as Harmesh Singh (35), a resident of Kurala village, his wife Manjit Kaur (32) and daughter Jaswinder Kaur (5). His eight-month old younger daughter who was critically injured in the accident was admitted to civil hospital, Dasuya.

Harmesh along with his family, was coming to his village from Khuda on a moped when the speedy husk loaded truck rammed into the moped.

The police has registered a case against the truck driver who fled from the spot leaving his vehicle.

Musahrraf to PoK premier: Kashmir solution must be acceptable to all three parties

Three killed, 11 injured in bomb explosion in Pakistan's southwest

Peshawar, Feb 7 : At least three people were killed and eleven others were injured when a bomb exploded near a bus stand in Dera Murad Jamali, a town about 300 kilometres southeast of Quetta. According to police the bomb exploded prematurely. The police told a foreign news agency that the bomb exploded when the bomber was trying to place the explosives in a sewerage drain. Two people died on the spot, while third lost his life in a hospital,.....
